Tonight as I was catching up on the latest MckMama update about baby Stellan (click here to check out his story), I couldn't help but stop and think about how incredibly blessed we are. We have more blessings than we could count and are so thankful for:
Jesus. Each other. Resolute commitment to our marriage vows. Our Little Miss (a major bundle of blessings in and of herself!). Extended family and close friends. Strong faith. Food-o-plenty. A comfy home. Warm clothes and a larger-than-life bed. The extra security of two jobs and two incomes. Good health (excluding the current cold infecting our house but that's a temporary infliction). Lot's of love. True joy. Regular occurrences of laughter (The list could go on and on)...
Even in the midst of trials, Jesus is our provider. Regardless of the state of the economy or the GM Corporation, regardless of personal struggles or health dilemmas, whether we can walk...or talk...there is hope in Christ.
Jesus is faithful. He is good. He is our Savior.
Does Jesus listen to our prayers?! Always. Does He answer them as we expect?! Seldom. Does He always answer in a way that's the best for us in the long-run? Eventually. Does Jesus love us through it all? Absolutely!
We are thankful for His grace.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16).

Amen dear one. Amen. Each time we get to spend any time around you guys, around Bekah, we KNOW blessings. And there are so, so many. Thanks for the little reminder.

Mel - Ahhh shucks, I'm blushing. :)We are soooo blessed by you and Jack too. Can't say enough about how much you both mean to our family!
