Chick-Sitting

The Little Miss and Yours Truly had a fun time babysitting baby chicks for our good friends while they were away for the weekend. Those that know me will recognize that this was a project not to be taken lightly. If you'll recall, Yours Truly is not fond of birds, especially their "excrement". In all truth, I am a little intimidated by chickens (weird, I know). Thankfully, these chicks were only a couple of weeks old so they were still cute and not big enough to be intimidating. As for their excrement...well, let's not go into that. I am happy to report that all six baby chicks survived their weekend retreat at the Wagners!
